- Arrive at least fifteen minutes before the class
is scheduled to start
- Salute the flags when entering and leaving the
Dojang
- Avoid taking part in loud or controversial
activities. Students should remain silent, especially during forms and
free sparring.
- Warm up prior to class
- Do not chew gum or use tobacco products in or
around the Dojang
- Wear a clean white uniform with no marking except
the indication of your school or Tang Soo Do rank.
- Use only water to drink or rinse your mouth with
during training
- Students and instructor should use Tang Soo Do
terminology at all times.
- Observe the rules and codes of Tang Soo Do to the
best of your ability
- All students should take part in cleaning the
Dojang, since a high degree of cleanliness must be maintained.
- Students should notify their instructor in advance
of any absence

the positive influences of the martial arts by stressing structure,
order, coordination, self discipline and other positive values. Classes
are 30 minutes and are fun.

properly prepares young
children for the formal Tang Soo Do training and curriculum. Helps to
develop proper manners, focus, attention and the high achievers
attitude early on. Classes are 60 minutes and are fun.

A formal training curriculum,
including traditional forms, weapons training, practical self defense
techniques, strategies and more. Children develop self-confidence and
self-esteem as they progressively train and test for belts.

Jiu-Jitsu

Ages 16 and Up

Jiu-Jitsu is known as the "gentle
art". It is the oldest form of martial arts. It was created by monks
who could not use any types of weapons to defend their lives against
barbarian attacks. Jiu-Jitsu is a style of grappling. Most of its
techniques are taught on the ground with mats.
