Description

Kids Tigers
|
Introduces very young children to
the positive influences of the martial arts by stressing self-respect, self-discipline,
coordination, good behavior, confidence, patience, concentration, responsibility,
cooperation, better health, and growth with a sense of justice. Students in this
program have the option of attending three 45 minute classes per week.

Basic Program
|
Students learn the fundamentals of blocking,
striking, kicking, self-defense, sparring, bo staff basics, and the
history of martial arts. Students in this program have the option of
attending three one hour classes per week.

Black Belt Club
|
Students learn advanced blocking, striking, kicking, self-defense,
sparring, and bo staff techniques. Students also learn fundamentals of
the sword and knife. Students in this program have the option of attending
five one-hour classes per week including special classes focused on
sparring every Tuesday and Thursday.

Leadership
|
In addition to regular Tang Soo Do classes, students receive extra-curriculum
training from various styles of martial arts including: jiu-jitsu, muay thai boxing,
and hapkido. They also have the opportunity to train using weapons such as: nuchakus,
Chinese broad sword, and the spear. Only the students involved in this program have the option
of being a part of the instructror's program and participating in open tournaments
and the demo team. Membership in this program is by invitation only. These students have
open access to the studio to attend and assist in any class being taught.

Family Class
|
A challenging, exciting, and serious way to exercise self-discipline and
fitness for both children and adults. Students will receive formal training
curriculum including: traditional forms, practical self-defense, and sparring
strategies. The students will also train with various weapons such as: bo staff,
sword, and knife. Students have the option of attending three classes a week as
a family.

Jiu-Jitsu
|
Jiu-Jitsu is known as the "gentle art". It is the oldest form of martial arts
and was created by monks who could not use any types of weapons to defend
their lives against barbarian attacks. Jiu-Jitsu is a style of grappling that
is mainly taught on the ground with mats. The techniques students will learn
include: throwing, grappling, holds, submissions escapes, and ground control
